Wolf Alice – Don’t Delete The Kisses

This week Wolf Alice won a Mercury Prize for their album Visions of a Life, so it’s only right that ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’ is on the list. They also recently recorded an episode with the fantastic ‘Song Exploder’ Podcast where they dissected the making of this song, definitely worth a listen. Go ahead, indulge your ears into a dreamy soppy love song for 4 minutes.

Lana Del Rey – Venice Bitch

Luxe Lana Del Rey is back releasing Venice Bitch with and opening verse lyrics such as ‘fresh out of fucks forever’, it sets the tone of super chill melancholy listening.

Dizzee Rascal – Money Right ft Skepta

Initially, I slept on Dizzee’s EP release two weeks ago, but after listening to the True Gordie’s interview where Dizzee talks about self producing, some insane stories of his fame and referencing the iconic Boy in The Corner, how could I miss this heavyweight track featuring Skepta.

Mahalia – Surprise Me

Soul singer songwriter Mahalia’s EP Seasons was released on September 21st, if you’re after warm soothing vocals and easy beats to ease you through the week, this is the EP you’re looking for.

Christine and the Queens – Doesn’t Matter

Sporting a french crop, its very new hair = new album. Héloïse Letissier released Chris onto the world with it’s 80s funk and all the while maintaining super slick transitions into french and english. The Guardian called the tracks ‘MJ reborn in the body of a 30-year-old Frenchwoman hell-bent on kicking the notion of womanhood around until it’s puree’ and I couldn’t agree more, it’s glorious.
